My first thought on seeing this was that it was something out of Monty Python and their "Ministry of Silly Walks", which is entirely frivolous and I'm sure not the kind of comment you are really hoping for.

Love the Manifesto - I wonder if you would consider printing it off and putting it in a time capsule to open in twenty years time? I'd love to think that you have truly been able to live by your words, but I wonder in this capitalist, consumerist world whether it is possible?
I suppose one can at least be aware of how we may impinge on others, but do we truly know whether we are or are not? Perhaps it is enough to know that it is our profound desire to do our best, because if everyone did this then surely the world would be a fairer, safer, more peaceful place.
Having taken several social justice type classes I can honestly say that I have an awareness now which I did not have before, and it makes me think about people and places and experiences and inequality and choice. I'm not sure that is enough, but it's a start.
You are right C R. The possibility of these ideas becoming realized is something which THE MINISTRY OF VOICE struggles with. However, we do believe that the people which fill our social systems have it within them to make positive change. We can get 'dragged down by the stone' but there is a resilience in humanity which we believe can be tapped into.
